Video and radio podcasts on Channel Governance

One of the goals of PEGASEAS was to publicise the outputs from the
INTERREG projects reviewed at a local level to practitioners and the
public. There were two key mechanisms, local events for the public and
local stakeholders and innovative media presentations.

Twelve local events were held in France and the UK including a BioBlitz
in Plymouth Sound, involving local scientists and the general public in an
intense survey of all the living species within the coastal area and a best
practice workshop in France to consider how to minimise the problems
associated with invasive species. These events showcased effective
techniques, tools and knowledge, relevant to local level practitioners of
marine management and governance, which have been derived from the
INTERREG IVA projects represented by the partnership.

In addition, a series of radio presentations were developed in French,
exploring the issues of concern in the English Channel and a short dual
language video on the project is also available below.
